ANHB Hosts Alaska TDM with IHS Leadership

 October 22nd, the Alaska Native Health Board (ANHB) hosted a Tribal Delegation Meeting (TDM) with the Director of the Indian Health Service (IHS). TDMs are an important forum for government-to-government discussion of key issues affecting Alaska Native health. Key topics discussed include IHS reorganization and area office workload concerns, facility funding, the Community Health Aide program, electronic health record modernization, and contract support cost provisions. This was the first Alaska TDM with Mark Cruz since he was confirmed as the Director of IHS.
