Goal: To continue the Coordination/Partnering role and seek additional opportunities to expand this service.
MEGA Meetings - ANHB organizes the twice-yearly MEGA Meeting that includes the IHS, the Department of Health and Social Services, and member organizations.
Tribal Consultations - ANHB currently Tribal Consultations in conjunction with the Alaska Area Native Health Services. In addition, the Department of Health and Human Services has utilized the ANHB to organize the Region X Consultation.
Tribal Caucus - ANHB serves as the facilitator to the Tribal Caucus. The Tribal Caucus forum is based on full consensus
Statewide Conferences - ANHB staff sit on planning committees for statewide conferences and board members/health directors are requested to present.
Friday Report/Calendar of Events - ANHB staff provide a bi-weekly Friday Report and weekly Calendar of Events for member organizations.
Letter of Support and Sample Letters - ANHB staff provide draft letters of support and other sample advocacy letters for members to customize and send to congress.
