A Measure and Process for Improving Human Excreta Disposal Pract
Design of research and case study by Environmental Public Health Leadership Institute Fellow, Joe Sarcone, MSPH, RS: The ongoing goal is to reduce human exposure to disease through improved excreta disposal practice. Methodology included: develop a metric for human excreta disposal practices, develop and implement a village practice questionnaire, implement a participatory process with pilot villages to identify improved practices, and work with service providers and villages to commit resources for identified measures.
